In the summer months of 2021 there remains a continuing feeling of uncertainty about how our service to society includes the highly valued human connection experienced by Rotary members in previous times. While the "hands looking out into space" principle is certainly a the norm in our lives There's no doubt the trust of Rotary has been growing and more people are making contact with each other. Rotary has changed. We are in the summer of 2021, the level of uncertainty concerning whether Rotary will be able to offer the same level of human interaction which Rotary members experienced in the past continues. The phrase "hands face space" is expected to be part of the routine however, it is clear there's an increase in faith and determination to meet face-to-face. However, Rotary is changing. Rotary has evolved. We've honed the way we conduct online meetings for our business while introducing the social and service aspects using a friendly face-toface approach. The new opportunities we have discovered are combining with our lessons from our previous pandemics to create a perspective to Rotary. Additionally, I am pleased to note that our Rotary Support Team continues to offer valuable tools to help promote and support these various projects. Also, they manage infrastructures that keep members safe and ensure the safety of the people. Both compliance and insurance is crucial. It is amazing that our Rotarians are able to find innovative and creative solutions to the biggest problems. This is why I was so happy to have the chance to join Rotary in 2002. Like so many Rotary have provided me with the security of a solid network of likeminded people who have formed genuine relationships developed over these almost twenty years. We must now promote Rotary by inviting family, friends as well as coworkers to join.
